When we announced that we were teaming up with Democracy for America to send at least 9 worthy activists to Austin this July, we knew the campaign would be a success. After all, Netroots Nation is shaping up to be the most energized convention yet. But, we never guessed the response to the scholarship competition would be this huge.

After 128 applications and many generous donations, we are proud to announce 30 scholarship winners.

We want to sincerely thank all of you who donated to the program, from individual activists to organizations like MoveOn.org. You ensured that activists of every age, background, and economic bracket, representing numerous points of view and all 50 states, are able to join us in Austin.

And we want to raise our virtual glasses to all our winners--new voices in the progressive movement who now have opportunity to network with fellow progressives just like them. Our winners range from 18 to 81, and they come from all over the country.
