The Little Laptop That Could

Let's start with our media maven Mary Rickles. Her laptop, that console to the world she was on the ENTIRE time, well bless its little heart. It made it through the week in Chicago only to sputter and palpitate at the airport and was completely dead by the time she got home.

It's in rehab getting the help it needs, and with a little eye-batting at the genius bar, Mary was able to get her Mac home and even get to macking. Kidding! :)

Gina, Gina, Gina

Gina Cooper...she's been in Barbados ever since. She wishes! In fact she hasn't taken any time off yet. None. Zip. Does anyone have any pro-union, eco-friendly spa recommendations for her? I hear the Teamsters give a mean shiatsu.

I saw CFO COO LOL Raven Brooks and his photographically finessing wife Mona for brunch the other day. Mona is enjoying mad one-woman gallery shows of her wonderful work. And Raven, having looked a little pekid by Convention's end, is still as busy as ten progressive bees.

Cuz wanna hear something funny? While the rest of us are filling our 2CO/YKC orange totes with sand castle fixins and smutty beach reads, his job is just starting! Poor Raven is dealing with all the bills that are coming in. Who ordered the caviar plate and charged it to YKC??? We will find you.

unConventional Book Sales Skyrocketed!

Sales are huge. Didn't you have time between the progressive film Screening Series and the Presidential Leadership Forum to pick one up? Well if your suitcase was too full of schwag, the good news is that you can still grab a copy .

Pontificator is still pontificating. And there have been a few gorgeous additions to our staff (I'll introduce you later), as well as a sad and fond farewell to some dear friends. For they are jolly good fellows and femmes!
