Independent Arts & Media, a 501 (c ) 3 organization and fiscal sponsor of YearlyKos, Inc. has authorized this auction for the benefit of YearlyKos, Inc. All tax-deductible proceeds from the final sale price, less the PayPal fee and a 5% administrative fee, will go directly to YearlyKos, Inc.
The organizers of the YearlyKos Convention have formed a new organization, the Netroots Arts and Education Initiative (or, NAEI). We expect NAEI to receive 501 (c )(3) status. As a result we plan to close the YearlyKos, Inc. non-profit and transition its activities to NAEI. Once that's done (and all the costs and expenses associated with winding down YKI have been paid), contributions to YKI will be sent to NAEI.
